So my writer buddy and I have been working on a project for a few years, and one of the main reasons we haven't actually FINISHED the project is that I am just really not much of a colorist. Bottom line: I can kinda get the job done, but it takes me forever. I know I have chops as a penciler, but at best, I'm an overachiever as a colorist. I am starting to realize that pencilers of my caliber are WAY more easy to come by than good colorists, cause the good ones are all working or want a ton of money. And it's not that they don't deserve it, but come on man!
Anyway, my question to any colorists out there: How do I get one of you to believe in this project enough to collaborate for deferred payment? I seriously want to know, so please, no holds barred.
Thank you for your support,
Matt
